I’ve spent about three decades in technology and consulting, working across the private and public sectors, including at Microsoft, HP and KPMG.
After September 11, I helped rebuild New York City’s emergency communications. Since then I’ve led accountability and efficiency work for state governments, including here in Florida. I know how state agencies work from the inside, where the money goes, and how to make systems answer to the people who pay for them.
Outside of work, I’ve volunteered with charities serving people with disabilities, seniors, and people recovering from substance abuse.
I’m running because the same problems keep getting worse — insurance, property taxes, housing, surveillance, our water — while both parties take money from the people who profit from them. I’m paying for this campaign myself and taking no party, PAC or corporate money, so the only people I owe are Floridians.

Joe served eighteen years in the U.S. Air Force. Today he manages disaster-recovery projects, the work that matters most to Floridians after a storm. He is also an educator and coach who works with veterans and seniors.
